How will C.H.A.Z survive?

Imagine living in a place where there is no police. Now imagine that in reality. It is currently happening at Capitol Hill, Seattle, Washington state, where the Seattle Police Dept. left their precincts and allowed protests to continue.

This has raised concerns about both security and violent protests that are very likely to happen. Police precincts have been vandalized with "This space is now the property of the Seattle people." Everyone around the country is awestruck on how the law & order will work and the lack of criminal activities happening even when the police are not there. People in Seattle have renamed the area as Capitol Hill Autonomous Zone(CHAZ). Autonomous means having the freedom to govern itself and control its current affairs.

Seattle Police Department(S.P.D.) chief Carmen Best said, "We did not abandon the precinct, but we had to remove personnel for a short period.” But how long will it continue? People are seen with guns and telling others that they have a right to the "First Amendment" in the U.S. Constitution. There is no authority that will be responsible to handle emergencies or report to. George Floyd's death has changed our perspectives on Police and whether they are meant to protect the people regardless of their race, creed, skin, and gender.

Artists beautifully wrote "BlackLivesMatter" with a hope of killing racism in our country and to spread the message that even without police, there is peace.
