Honoring the brave

America had thousands of brave and strong people who were loyal to their nation and died during their service in the Armed Forces of the USA. The government of the U.S. made a specific day to honor these brave souls. It is called Memorial Day, which is happening this May 25th, 2020. Even during the Coronavirus, all of the people will be honored by online meetings. Almost everyone has an off in the U.S. from their daily activities such as work, and school during this event to commemorate the people who were valorous. These people made audacious life choices. They signed up for going to a cave full of imperilment and an unprecedented world. This itself needs the mindset and physical strength to take this decision. They are the people who are dedicated to protect and serve their country. Some of them have to stay away from their loved ones for months and even years. They are brave in heart and strong outside.

This event is traditionally celebrated by placing flowers and placing the American flag on their grave with pride.

"I learned that courage was not the absence of fear, but the triumph over it. The brave man is not he who does not feel afraid, but he who conquers that fear", said Nelson Mandela.

The quote said by Nelson Mandela means that we could conquer our fear by our courage and so our courage doesn't reflect that we are not scared of anything, but it means that we didn't have an excuse and we betrayed our fear by doing what is needed to overcome it. And that is what those brave souls did and died for this nation to make this country a peaceful and safe place to live. This determination is priceless. One holiday is just not enough to remark the day of thousands of being compromised. But our best wishes and love to the families who have lost someone due to their service in the military can make this day remarkable for them. We always take their service for granted and we should at least celebrate their valor. Showing just a pure expression of love and sympathy to others is gratifying.
